Hi Kathleen,
It's time to give another update on our sweet piggy BarbaraQ. She turned 2 on May 3 and she's doing great! She weighs around 60-65 pounds. We moved last September and was expecting it to be a stressful time for her. But as soon as we let her out of the car and into her new yard, she adapted beautifully, no problems at all!
We have started taking her for walks in our new neighborhood and it's a lot of fun watching people's expressions when they see her in her pink harness taking a stroll down the street!
She's still pretty skittish around people she doesn't know but that's easily taken care of by having that person offer her a cheerio. We are still completely in love with her and we're so happy she's a part of our large family. I've attached a picture for you to see how much she's grown!
Thank you again for our sweet piggy!

Hi Kathleen!
Here's another update on our sweet baby BarbaraQ:
She's so much fun for our whole family! We're starting to recognize what each of her grunts mean. When she wants outside, she stands by the door, wags her tail and gives several long grunts! When she wants loving, she gives several higher-pitched grunts.
We are working on some more training. So far, she can sit, jump, circle and kiss. She knows "come" but now only obeys it sometimes. I think she's at the age when she's starting to test her boundaries and seems to have selective hearing. But she is still such a sweetheart and loves her family!
She was very good when I trimmed her hooves for the first time. I just gave her a belly rub, she laid down on her side, and let me trim away. We have a small brush that she loves to have her hair brushed with. As far as baths, she doesn't like them at all, even when I put her favorite treat in the water! Luckily, it doesn't take very long.
She's shown her dislike for the cooler weather a few weeks ago. We let her outside to go potty...she did her business, then ran back in the house, under her bed and didn't come out the rest of the morning (yes, we got her a real nice pillow bed, but she sleeps UNDER it, not on top!).
Thank you again for our wonderful, sweet baby. She's the best pet I've ever had and we all love her to pieces!
The pic is of BarbaraQ taking a nap with her cat brother, Oobie.

Hi Kathleen,
It's time for another update on our sweet baby! Barbara Q is doing so well. She's almost 4 1/2 months old now and weighs 21 pounds. We can feel her hip bones with little pressure. She's been completely potty trained since she was about 10 or 11 weeks old and she no longer uses her litter box.
As for her personality, we couldn't have asked for a better pig! She's fun to play with, gets into EVERYTHING (we've had to "pig-proof" our house) and now knows how to get up and down the stairs on our deck. She's real sweet with our 4 small boys and is real good when we have company over. One day, she knocked over her water bowl outside, made a mud puddle, and wallowed in it f or her personal pleasure! And like most of the pet piggies out there, her tail is constantly wagging.
Now we see where the term "pigs in a blanket" comes from...she sleeps under her blankets, completely covered! She loves to snuggle, mostly with her mom. She sure can jump too. She still smacks real loud when she eats and it's so adorable.
Thank you again for our sweet baby. She's truly the best pet we've ever had!! We've attached a couple of pics for you.

Hi Kathleen,
We've had BarbaraQ for about 2 1/2 weeks now and already she is the biggest joy of our lives! She is very lovable, and jumps into our laps for bonding time and belly rubs. She also loves to kiss--she'll kiss anyone who says "Kiss-kiss, BarbaraQ!" (especially for a treat), even if it's someone she's not used to being around. She even kisses our cat and dogs.
As for potty training, she does well in her nursery, but I think she prefers to go outside when she's out of her nursery, and sometimes she will have an accident on the way out.
She is 100% harness trained and it didn't take long at all. The only trick we've taught her so far is to kiss, and she picked that up the first time, as soon as she realized she can get a Cheerio treat. Now, she'll ask for kisses by putting her nose in mine! She LOVES her vegetables and fruits. We give her mostly vegetables like cucumbers and carrots, and a little bit of fruit everyday, mostly apples and seedless watermelon. She's so cute when she eats and drinks--she smacks real loud and her slurps can be heard in another room!
Thank you so much for our bundle of joy. She touches all of our lives and those who see her in a way we could never imagine!
