Hi Kathleen,
We made it home OK, and the trip was a success. Frank is a great little pig, he was so good in the hotel, although he squealed a little bit. He was a good boy all the way home, and was even better when we got here. He was eating out of our hands shortly after he settled down. We set up a pen in the sun room for him, and we have another outside pen to setup tomorrow. He will love the green grass in the backyard. I'll send more pics as we take them. Thank you again for a wonderful pet pig, we are hopelessly in love with him already. Bye for now.
Sincerely,
Eric & Rita
Well, we were happy that he knew to use that box already. We are not ready to let him outside yet, we need to close an opening in the fence and make sure it is safe out there for him. We let him out of the cage for a while just in that room, and he let us scratch his belly, and he just rolls on his side and falls asleep smiling, we both loved that part. He will have run of the house soon enough, we just couldn't let him get into everything until we have the house pig-proof. He is much stronger than I would have thought, that cage will not hold him for long, if he really wants to, I think he could lift the cage and run underneath it. He can stand up on his hind legs and is not afraid to jump.
We have a question about how much to feed him daily. Is it a cup a day right now at his age without any grazing or treats?
