We adopted our second piggy, Christie, from Kathleen Plauce at Ponderosa Mini Farm. As responsible first pig owners we were very concerned about finding a new friend for our first pig, Yovander. We called Kathleen with many questions about two pig ownership and she introduced us to Christie, whom she thought would be a good match. We knew a lot about Christie before she arrived and felt she would be perfect. Kathleen even sent us "baby pictures." Kathleen took care of all the details (flight arrangements, paperwork, etc) and our new girl arrived safe and sound.

One of the reasons we selected Christie was that our first pig, Yovander, was a relative to Christie and from her family tree. He has been a very good companion pig. He is ultra loving, social and friendly. Christie bears the same friendly disposition, sweetness and social disposition as her "cousin." She is delightfully chatty and will "talk" to you whenever she follows you around.

We have been delighted with our new girl. It has been my experience that if you want a good pig you buy "quality, loving, well socialized" pigs from knowledgeable concerned breeders.
