Hi Kathleen,
Junior (Hammy Davis Jr.) is adapting to home life very well. It
took less than one day to train him to a litter box. We are working with
halter and leash training now. He went to the vet today, met all the
staff, and got a clean bill of health. He weighs 16 lbs 2 oz. He didnt
eat much the first twenty four hours, but he is eating "like a pig" now.
I have tried a variety of vegitables. He does not seem to like any of
them. My friend with the therapy dogs is looking into what it
will take to get junior certified as a therapy animal. My vet is also
looking into the vaccination and health certificate needs for junior to
be a therapy animal.
I am sending some pictures of Juniors first day home. Thanks alot. Will
email more pictures soon.

Hi Kathleen,
Junior is doing good. His teenage attitude is starting to show, but I think he will learn to get over it. We have been taking him for walks and for the most part he is doing real well. He loves meeting new people young and old. I think this will make him a good therapy animal. More later
