Kathleen,

Homer is doing great, and he is so much fun.

Let me tell you about the first couple days. The night we brought him home ( 8:30 pm) we open his carrier and he did not come out until ( 6:00 am) the only reason we heard him was because we had we put some food and water outside his crate for him and he was grunt and making a mess when he was eating. We had the littler box but he wasn't to sure exactly how to use it so he had only one accident in the first day. In the day to come he became more aware of use and more comfortable w/ us and is now getting into everything.

He is harness trained which could still use some more work but that's all in time. He is the talk of the town everybody love him. He is potty trained to go outside and in his litter box. Once in blue moon he tinkles in the house, but it is rare. He goes outside for at least 20 to 30 min if not more everytime he goes out ( which is about every 3 hrs) . He roots up everything even though he has his own rooting pen w/ mud, grass, and hay and if we let him he would eat everything in site.

He cries and screams a little still when we pick him up but he is getting better. We think is funny that he loves to sleep on your lap, jump and walk all over you but he is still scared to be pick up. The only time we pick him up is to either get him up or down the steps ( he gets stubborn and won't come even w/ food.)

He is a stinker if you are in the kitchen doing something and he wants to go in the family room. He has a little tantrum and grunts all the way down the hallway and falls asleep in your chair and you when sit w/ him he cuddles up w/ you. He is a little snuggle bug he hides himself all the way under the cover and lay on us and on our pillows ( I wonder were all this came from.)

He is really starting to settle in and getting in to his routine. We have been taking pictures and we will send them to you. If you have any additional advise or suggestions please give them to us it would be much appreciated.

Thanks,
Jennie, Eric, & Homer
