Dear Kathleen,

We and Ricky are doing great. He has been so easy to train. He is getting to know all my friends and the kid's as well. I think he likes to be around a crowd because he thinks he is going to get a tidbit which most of the time he does. It is so funny when he goes outside in the cold and his hair stands on end and he fusses about the cold. When he does his business he hurries back inside.

We are all adjusting well. I frankly did not know what to expect but he has been easier to train than my dogs. The dogs get along very well with the pig. I still monitor their being with the pig because I know a dog will go after a pig in a heart beat. So far so good.

The Waldons

Kathleen,

I sort of got busy over the holidays. I have not been on the potbelly pig site in forever. Will get on today. I have much to tell you. Ricky is getting a little aggresive but I think I have it under control. He does not like strangers to come in the house but is getting better. It is amazing how they love their family but cannot handle others. You don't understand that until you see it happen. He has adjusted wonderfully and is content with us. His favorite place in the house is the pantry. Always food on floor. We are enjoying him very much. He plays with the dogs and really can move. It is a riot. Never a dull moment. I built a 50 ft. by 50 ft. kennel and he loves it in his haven with all the dirt and grass.

I will be glad to take e-mail questions. Will check everyday.

Have a Piggy Day
