It's me again. ...... By the way, I love the book, I'm only half way through, but it's so interesting and valuable. I just finished reading the section on aggression, and it's very helpful to know how to stop her aggression to the dogs. I mentioned before how she chased them around, and it was just real cute until she started really hurting the almost blind and old Pekinese. It escalated to a fierce attack in which the Pekinese was seriously injured. I have been training Pigtoria to come, and she's doing real well. That's for if and when they accidentally get in the same room again. And of course for cooperating with going where I want her to without dragging her. We keep her and that dog apart all the time now. The other dogs have successfully retained their position of dominance and there's good feelings between them.
Pigtoria is also doing many of the tricks you mentioned. She doesn't stay yet. And for dancing, she just goes up and down.
She's still just as sweet to people as can be. She loves attention from anybody: family, friends, and strangers. I'm stuck with her as a bed partner, but my bed is big enough, and I think it will always work. She does so look forward to going upstairs every night to bed. And I love having her near to rub her tummy or scratch her back, or just hug her, when I have my attacks of insomnia . She has a very nice and comfy doggy bed here in the kitchen that she loves to sleep and lounge in in the daytime, but at night, she starts to squeal and grunt to go upstairs at bedtime.
She's such a doll, and I'm so grateful to you for getting her straightened out nutritionally and in other ways. Hope I don't bother you with too much writing.
Bonnie
